Freedom Leisure is delighted to announce that it has received the prestigious Active Standard from ukactive following a successful assessment process.
The Active Standard (also known as TAS) is a quality mark for the leisure sector, developed by ukactive and its partners. The Active Standard helps to instil consumer confidence in the safety and inclusivity of fitness and leisure facilities with a comprehensive certification process to ensure leisure operations meet the right industry standards.
We are delighted to receive the Active Standard award from ukactive. We want every visitor to a Freedom Leisure centre feel safe, welcomed and included, creating a space where the entire community can have fun, stay active, and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Our colleagues across the UK work really hard to make sure that we meet and excel all industry standards every day so it’s testament to their dedication that this is being recognised in this way.

The leisure trust is now accredited following the rigorous assessment process and will continue to be assessed ensuring professional standards on health and safety compliance, data protection and safeguarding are maintained.
