Sport England's research reveals that women in the UK are less active than men. According to their Active Lives Adult Survey, 42% of women were classified as "inactive" (doing fewer than 30 minutes of physical activity per week), compared to 37% of men. This highlights a significant gender gap in physical activity levels, with women facing more barriers to participation, such as time constraints, lack of confidence, and limited access to suitable opportunities.
