Well done Amber!
We had an amazing evening on the 20th of August, celebrating the medal winning talent of Amber Anning!
Amber started athletics when she was aged 9 after moving to the UK from Australia, already a talented athlete she continued her journey with The Brighton and Hove City Athletics club who's base is at Withdean Sports Complex.
Amber has been supported in her journey to Olympic Medallist since 2013 Taking part in the annual Junior Summer Fitness challenge of 2013, and coming often to the newly established Freedom Leisure Athletics Academy led by Richard Carter.
Freedom leisure in Brighton and Hove is been proud to have supported Amber over the past 11 years with our talented athlete membership support granting free access to our training facilities helping Amber reach and excel at the very elite tip of her sport in becoming a double Olympic Bronze medalist at the Paris 24 games and British 400m record holder.
Our freedom leisure athletics academy for ages 4-8 and 8-12 is due to restart on September 7th on Saturday mornings.
Quadkids athletics weekday training sessions will also restart on Monday 9th and Friday 13th September both 5-6pm
