Get ready for the ultimate test of endurance, teamwork and determination!
This August, a group of brave staff members and loyal customers will come together to face one of the most physically and mentally challenging events - the Tough Mudder! With a promise to push each participant to their limits, to get through this adrenaline-pumping obstacle course, teamwork, camaraderie and resilience will be key.
So, what is a Tough Mudder?
Tough Mudder is no ordinary event. It’s a high-energy, obstacle-filled race that’s all about getting out of your comfort zone and conquering the muddiest challenges together. From climbing walls and crawling under wires to wading through icy waters, Tough Mudder is a test of strength, stamina, and team spirit.
Unlike traditional races, the emphasis of Tough Mudder isn’t on speed, but on supporting each other through every challenge. It's about coming together as a team and helping one another overcome the obstacles in your path. So whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to try something new, this event is designed for everyone who’s ready to take on the challenge.
Meet the Team taking on this incredible challenge..

"I am choosing to do the Tough Mudder because I like to try new things and challenging myself. The Tough Mudder is something I have wanted to do for a while now so I felt like this was the best time to do it with everyone - espeically raising money for MIND and mental health as I have friends and family who have struggled with their mental health for years, so anything to raise money for a fantastic cause."

That's right - we've got a sister duo too!
"We wanted to do the Tough Mudder together as we joined Freedom gym together about 18 months ago and have lost 5 stone between us. We wanted to push ourselves and celebrate how far we have come while raising money for all the great work MIND does. We also think it'll be hilarious so please give what you can."

Why are we doing it?
With each obstacle, from muddy trenches to towering walls, symbolized the struggles many face with mental health, and the team’s dedication to pushing through will reflect their determination to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues. With every step, they not only tackled one of the hardest events around but also contributed to a vital cause. Their perseverance was a testament to the power of community and the importance of supporting mental health initiatives.
