Children’s Swimming Lessons Great Yarmouth
Our team of highly qualified, friendly swim instructors provide lessons for children from 3 months old with no upper age limit for children wanting to learn to swim. Swimming Classes for Adults
We offer adult swimming classes for those who are looking to build their confidence in the water with guidance from an instructor. These sessions are suitable for all abilities, and our friendly coaches will work with you to develop your water skills in a relaxed, motivational environment.
We follow Swim England's Learn to Swim Pathway
We work in partnership with Swim England to deliver a high quality Learn to Swim Programme for all ages and abilities.
All our instructors are experienced and fully trained to deliver the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and are fully DBS checked.
Track your child's progress
We have an online system in place to allow you to track your child’s swimming lesson progress. When you begin your lessons with us you'll be sent a login so you can instantly see how well your child is doing and progressing through the stages. If you have a login, click the link below, if you are a Swim School member but you haven't received a login as yet, please contact us.

There is a car park available to our members and guests. Please ensure you register your car registration at reception upon arrival.
You don’t have to be a member to use the facilities. You can pay casually for a swim or do a Pay As You Go membership.
Find us here at Marina Centre, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2ER. Swimming lessons are also available at our sister site Phoenix Leisure Centre.
We offer a Residents Passport to Leisure membership to anyone who lives in the Borough for a one-off fee of £15 for the year and you will also receive a 10% discount on all casual activities.
We offer a range of different exercise classes included in our full membership. For non members the price is £8 per class.

Activities are payable in advance, and spaces are limited. You can drop in and pay at reception but pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Most children are ready for swim lessons by the age of 4, at which point they can typically learn basic water survival skills such as floating, treading water and getting to an exit point. By age 5 or 6, they can usually master the front crawl.
We have a 25m swimming pool with 6 lanes, as well as a smaller pool with a moveable floor to change the depth for different sessions. We also have an Aqua Play pool with flumes and a splash pad. Aqua Play can be pre-booked via our website.
We have a cafe area accessible for everyone serving Costa hot and cold drinks, as well as a range of salads, hot or cold sandwiches, pizzas, jacket potatoes and cakes to enjoy.
