Both the council and Freedom Leisure have been discussing the best way forward for leisure services in the district and both parties agree that the transfer of services, including the staff, to a new Local Authority Trading Company owned by the Council, is a progressive move forward for the council and for the residents of Lichfield District. Subject to full council approval in the coming weeks, the service will transfer in the Spring.
What does this mean for you?
We, at Freedom Leisure will continue to provide all the amazing activities and facilities to all our customers, as we have for the last five years, until the service transfers back to the council. Nothing will change and we will ensure a smooth and uninterrupted service before, during and after transfer so you can remain active throughout the process and continue to enjoy a visit to your local leisure centre.
